What's on at the Acorn Centre

Sporting community

We have four badminton courts and can be used for 5-a-side football, netball, short tennis and basketball amongst other sports and fitness classes. The sports hall is also equipped with an upstairs viewing gallery. If you have a group activity or event that you need a large space for then our sports hall, along with all are other facilities, is available for you to hire.

Dance / Function Rooms

Our fully equipped function rooms are used for a wide range of activities such as Aerobics, Dance, Judo, Karate, Bingo, Meetings, Kidz Club, Parties, Functions, to name a few. They can also be used as training rooms. Prices start at just £15ph and are available for hire on either a regular or ‘one off’ basis.

Volunteering Opportunities

We always welcome new volunteers; there are roles to suit everyone. We know that the time you give as a volunteer is based on your other commitments, so if you can only do a few hours a month that is fine… if you can offer more than that, then great.
As a volunteer you will be part of a team, meet new friends, learn new skills and help a local charity.
